Job Description:
The group Biogeochemical Cycles is actively involved in modelling climate-carbon cycle interactions in the past and in the future using a hierarchy of models. We offer the opportunity to work with cost-efficient Earth system models and with the comprehensive, state-of-the art climate-carbon cycle model of the US National Centre for Atmospheric Research to investigate biogeochemical cycles in the climate system. The research is linked to the European project CARBOOCEANS and the Network of Excellence EUROCEANS. The activities of the division and the biogeochemical group are summarized in a recent progress report. The salary is according to the guidelines of the Swiss National Science Foundation and funding is secured for at least two years.
